Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all Tibet tours. Reservations help us determine the arrangement we need to ensure our clients remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to anything that could disturb the tour.

After confirming your tour with us, you are requested to send us clear scanned files of your passport and China visa in order to process Tibet Travel Permit. If your China Visa is not tourist visa “L visa”, then you are requested to provide additional documents such as student certificates, work permits, residential permits etc.

We understand that you might not have access to a printer while traveling, so a printed copy is not required. Our tour guide will be waiting for you at the airport or train station with a name sign for easy identification.

Our tour reservation policy

Boarding flight and train to Tibet is strict for all foreigner travellers. However, we will make you know and do the rest for you once your tour is confirmed with us. The most important thing is to get your original Tibet travel permit which we will send to your hotel or city, where you might first-arrive in China.

With the exception of travel in the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Amdo and Kham regions of Sichuan, Gansu, Yunnan, and Qinghai, do not require special travel permits. Any Chinese visa is acceptable. Tibet travel permit

The official name of the Tibet travel permit is sometimes incorrectly spelled as Tibet visa, but calling it as Tibet Entrance Permit is alternatively used! A Tibet travel permit is being issued by Tibet Tourism Bureau with a licensed travel agency in Lhasa. Our Tibet tour operator will submit your documents to Tibet tourism bureau on your behalf after confirming a trip with us. You are only require to provide copies of your passport and Chinese Visa. It is easy to apply from our end but not ineligible from your end.

A foreigner passport-holders require a Tibet permit to visit Tibet. Foreigners living in mainland China are equally to follow the authority and require to provide a business-recommendation in addition. Without a Tibet permit causes denying at boarding train or flight to Lhasa.

Wear whatever is comfortable. However, it is recommended to wear a formal cloth especially entering a monastery and public areas. Check the whether condition on internet or ask your trip advisor for preferable cloths.

This is a secure permit launched only in Tibet Autonomous Region which the government to adjust a better ways for touring stability. Tibet travel permit is being issued by Tibet tourism bureau about 25 days prior to your arrival date.

Tibet travel permit has four kinds: Tibet tourism bureau permit (TTB), military permit, foreign affair permit and public security bureau(PSB) permit. This permits distribute to agent in the last 3 to 7 days. These permits are no longer eligible for personals except contacting a local travel agency in Lhasa to get it. Independent travelers are currently not allowed in Tibet Autonomous Region. Instead you can also book a tour to Amdo and Kham regions which are not equally valuable as were the previous provinces of Tibet. Non of them need Tibet travel permit.

Travel FAQs about entering Tibet from Nepal requires Tibet Group Visa from Chinese Embassy to Kathmandu. Tibet Group Visa is a paper issued in Kathmandu listed details of your information according to passports of the group members. The dates of entry and exit are being recorded according to length of tour you booked with a local travel agency in Tibet in Nepal or Tibet, as a possible to extend few days to stay in Tibet autonomous region only. However, a travel agency based in Lhasa must to process all necessary visa invitation and travel permit to Tibet even if you book with agencies based in Nepal.

Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you will need to apply for Tibet group visa to enter Tibet and your individual visa will be cancelled at the same time if you already have one. This means you are only eligible with a group visa to visit Tibet from Nepal.

To receive a full refund, you must contact us at least 25 days prior to your scheduled tour date. Cancellations made within 25 days of the tour will incur a $250 termination fee. Yes, we do hike in rain, snow, wind, or any other weather conditions that nature presents—it’s all part of the adventure! However, safety is our top priority. If the weather is deemed unsafe, the trip itinerary will be adjusted or postponed. In such cases, you’ll be notified during the week of your Tibet trip about any changes due to weather conditions.
